TRIBAL RAFT BUILDING & ISLAND ESCAPE RACES

{Build a tribal raft and ocean races}

Your tribe is about to embark upon an exciting Hawaiian Raft Building Adventure. All must coordinate their efforts in an attempt to create a strong, colorful and funky, island escape raft. Your tribe’s leader will delegate specific tasks to his or her tribe members. As the planners and builders of the raft get busy, other crewmembers will design and paint a personalized tribal flag. As this is taking place, a scouting party will comb the beach for their raft’s natural décor. There will also be various immunity challenges!……..The jaws relay race will be your icebreaker, followed by the “wild and wacky” Muu Muu Madness hula competition. A conch shell-blowing contest, tribal chant performance, and a most exhilarating “paddle to paddle” ocean raft race competition.

Upon completion of the various raft escape attempts and exciting contests, each tribe’s individual scores are tallied, then posted on our scoreboard for all to view.

Next, the festive awards presentation will commence. Handsome, personalized Olympic “Survivor” raft race medals are presented to the three top scoring tribes.

Inclusions

TRIBAL RAFT GAMES & CHALLENGES

BUCKETS OF EELS - SLITHERING! SLIMY! Eels are tossed into buckets of fresh ocean water. Getting them directly into the buckets will help to keep them fresh and lively (bringing more $$$) upon reaching the marketplace!

RING OF FIRE - Large Capping Rings scaled through the air (hopefully land around volcano peaks) slowing or stopping the deadly flow of molten lava.

PINEAPPLE TOSS - Pineapples are speedily tossed a distance into bushels (without being bruised of course) before they can be carried off to market.

HULA HOOPLA - Hula-Hoops rolled skillfully along ground, must fall around clusters of colorful pegs strategically placed in the ground.

CATCH THE BIRDIE - Badminton birdie is hit with a racquet, and sent high into the air. A teammate runs to catch birdie as it falls from the sky in a helmet basket worn on his or her head.

COCONUT CROQUET - A coconut hangs from a bungee cord hooked around contestant’s waist. Without hands touching it, the coconut must swing back and forth (between players legs) in order to hit a croquet ball through a series of colorful rainbows. ~~~~First speedy player thru the course wins!

BEACH BASKETBALL - Wearing a blacked out snorkel mask, a player tosses beach balls in the direction of teammate who has a large basket dangling from his or her neck. The object is to get the balls into the basket without the catcher touching this wildly swinging basket.

COCONUT BOWLING –Placed on the ground are Hula-hoops with bowling pins standing in the middle. To score, coconuts are rolled a distance, knocking pin over, but not rolling out of that hoop.

FISH FRY FLIP - Utilizing snorkel fins or oversized beach shovels, life-like fish, crabs and lobsters are flipped thru the air, landing in various size frying devices affixed to colorful surfboards.

SPEAR SLIDE - A “10” foot spear is slid along the ground. The object is to have it stop between colorful wooden pegs strategically set into ground some distance away.

COCONUT FOOTBALL - Football shaped coconuts are skillfully thrown a distance to pass thru various size targets of weathered life preservers

*BUNGEE BALLOON BLAST! - Filled to their bursting point, water balloons are loaded on to launching pad catapult. The teams marksmen determine the target distance, pull back AND FIRE AWAY!!

* QUAD VOLLEYBALL - A uniquely designed four sided volleyball court is strategically manned by four “ must be alert” teams. It’s anyone’s game, as this fast moving contest of coordination and agility allows the ball to be hit over the net, and to any of the other three rival teams.

*SOCKEY- Utilizing an oversized hockey stick, offensive teams try to hit a very large soccer ball into the opposing team’s goal! As a player hits the massive ball, the defensive team must try to stop it from rolling into the goal, without stepping outside of the strategically set boundary lines.

*BIG BASEBALL- A large plastic baseball is smashed into a sea of fielders! The object is for the hitter to score team points by hitting into center field, where no defensive players are permitted to roam!!

ISLAND CHALLENGES!!

JAWS RELAY RACE - Teams race against each other in a hilarious and competitive show. The participants will run, jump, or hop as fast as they can, with inflated sharks between their legs. They must keep on passing the sharks to their teammates (without touching them with their hands) until the last participant crosses the finish line.

MUU MUU MADNESS HULA CONTEST - Teams line up, put on colorful Hawaiian Muu Muu dresses, then display their funky hula talents.

As the contestants begin to feel the beat, they all start to strut their stuff!

They’ll Shimmy! Shake! Sway and Rock & Roll (ISLAND STYLE) to the adrenalin pumping music, as they transfer their Muu Muu’s to the next team player. Contestants will all try to outdo their opponents while performing their “WILD AND WACKIEST” HULA ANTICS.

HULA-HOOP CONTEST - The best of each team’s “hula hooper’s” challenge their rivals in a down to the wire contest of skill and stamina. Rocking music adds to the fun and excitement of this event, as gals vs. gals and men go at it too!

TIGER SHARK SHUFFLE - Team members hold large inflatable tiger sharks above their heads and support a long tube between their legs. As music begins they work as a unit and slalom through a wild and wacky volcano fun course.

THE TONGAN TUG OF STRENGTH - A two-hundred foot cargo ship docking rope is used to test the strength of two rival factions. Each group digs in their heels, as they try to pull the other team into the shark pit of death.
